Pedrali is an italian company that produces contemporary furniture for contract and residential. the collection is the result of a careful and accurate research aimed to create functional and versatile industrial design products made of metal, plastic materials, wood as well as upholstery.

Seatings, tables, complements and lighting exclusively manufactured in italy through a design process which combines tradition and innovation, engineering excellence and creative brilliance.

Overview

In 1963, mario pedrali founded a small workshop in the town of palazzolo sull’oglio, in the province of brescia, where he began to produce his first outdoor collections of wrought iron seats. from the seventies onwards, the company began working with italian and foreign architects and designers, specialising ever more in industrial production targeting the contract furniture sector. today, under the leadership of his sons monica and giuseppe, the company employs more than 300 collaborators and has also won the adi compasso d’oro for the frida chair in 2011.

Pedrali has adopted special quality, environment and safety management systems with a view to guaranteeing and prolonging its customers’ satisfaction by means of the company’s distinguishing features. pedrali is aware that a responsible economic strategy that strives to minimise the environmental impact of its work activities and to continuously improve its environmental performance will bring significant business advantages, thus enabling the company to satisfy both the market’s environmental improvement expectations and the demands of customers. the management also undertakes to improve the health and safety of its workers, making this as an integral part of its work ethic and a strategic commitment within the context of its corporate purpose.

Claudio Bellini

Claudio Bellini (1963) architect and designer lives and works in milan where he graduated in architecture from the renowned university politecnico di milano. in 1996 he established his design practice shaped by the harmony of beauty and efficiency, focuses on furniture, product and interior design. his global vision and capability of understanding the dynamics of various cultures and markets brought him the recognition as one of the most influential european design practises all around the world.

An international speaker with many years of university teaching experience, bellini also works as the creative director for a number of leading global brands, where his success is evidenced by the multitude of awards he’s won over the years. he has an open-minded attitude, combined with a peculiar sensibility for different culture and historical heritage.

CMP Design

“CMP” is an acronym of cazzaniga mandelli pagliarulo, the three founders and friends who gave birth to the studio in 2009. all three come from a university experience at the milan polytechnic extremely fertile in ideas, due to the happy circumstance of a human environment full of positive and creative relationships. the distinctive feature of all cmp’s works could be identified in the materialization of visual connections between objects of the past, objects of popular culture and natural elements. the latter are the basic ingredients of each project, which are then combined by intuition, and simplified through the three-way dialogue, to produce simple and timeless concepts.

Odo Fioravanti

“I think there is something deeply honest in the fact that objects do their job, which is to enter people’s lives gracefully, gently and then somehow take different meanings day to day.”

Odo Fioravanti studied industrial design at the design department of the Milan polytechnic. since 1998 he has worked as an industrial designer, also experimenting graphic and exhibition design, with a firm will to melt different design areas into a continuous matter.

his projects received prestigious international design awards since he created odo Fioravanti design studio. he taught and lectured in many design schools and academies: Milan polytechnic, university of venice, san marino university, istituto Marangoni, domus academy, head Genève.

His works have been featured in many international exhibitions. in 2010 the design museum of the triennale di milano featured the personal exhibition “industrious design” about his works.

With pedrali he won in 2008 the young design with the snow plastic chair; in 2011 the compasso d’oro prize adi with the frida wooden chair; in 2018 the german design award with the dome chair.

He also works as a freelance journalist for design magazines trying to explore and to change the boundaries of design as a discipline. since 2006 he ran the odo fioravanti design studio, developing projects for many companies. notably abet laminati, ballarini, casamania, coop, desalto, flou, fontana arte, foscarini, land rover, normann copenhagen, olivetti, palomar, pedrali, pircher, steelcase, toshiba, vibram, victorinox.
